Filip Michalak has established himself as one of Scandinavia’s leading young artists, performing as a soloist and chamber musician across the world. He's a prizewinner of numerous international competitions and has appeared with orchestras in Denmark, Sweden, Poland, Norway, and the UK.
Filip is the founder of the Aalborg Chamber Music Festival and in 2025 his debut CD "BEYOND", featuring works by Brahms, Chopin, and Franck, was released. He continues to captivate audiences with his expressive and dynamic artistry.
Filip Michalak’s repertoire spans the full breadth of the piano tradition; from Bach, Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt to Rachmaninoff, Scriabin, Debussy, and contemporary composers. He performs major solo works, concertos, and chamber music, embracing both beloved masterpieces and adventurous modern repertoire
